10% fewer people are now on Killarney Town Council’s housing waiting list.
It follows a new process during which all applicants were asked to reapply. There are 1,065 qualified housing applicants on Killarney Town Council’s waiting list.
As of January 7th 6 new applications were received.
However, the new application process was criticised by Mayor of Killarney Sean O’Grady and Councillor Donal Grady who said it was completely unnecessary and put stress on those on the list.
